University modules usually allow tutoring and feedback, provided the work you submit is your own.
Get to grips with difficult theories, methods or calculations in one-to-one sessions built around your module content.
Break a portfolio, group project or extended essay into realistic milestones you can actually hit alongside everything else.
Comments on structure, argument and evidence, aligned to your module’s assessment criteria and learning outcomes.
A final check for spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting, carried out within your university’s proofreading policy.
Non-exam assessment (NEA) for A-levels and GCSEs, and coursework for vocational qualifications such as BTECs, is governed by exam board rules. The work must be the student’s own, your teacher has to be able to authenticate it, and a breach can be treated as malpractice that affects the qualification.
So for these qualifications we keep to support that can’t compromise authentication. We teach the subject knowledge and the skills your NEA draws on, such as research methods, data handling, evaluation and extended writing technique. We help you understand the specification and assessment objectives in general terms and plan your time. We don’t read, annotate or suggest content for the assessed piece itself. If your teacher or exam board has given you specific guidance, share it and we’ll follow it.
Clear limits protect you. Everything we offer is designed to sit within UK academic integrity rules. Read our integrity policy.

Students we’ve helped
“I had done the research, but bringing my dissertation together felt overwhelming. OxfordHelpers helped me spot gaps, organize my chapters, and strengthen my referencing. Their clear, practical feedback made the revisions manageable, and I finally felt confident about submitting my work. The result was a polished, thoroughly researched dissertation with clear arguments and careful referencing, and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.”
“With my deadline approaching, I needed more than a quick spellcheck. OxfordHelpers picked up unclear wording, inconsistent references, and mistakes I had overlooked. The editing was thorough, communication was straightforward, and I submitted on time without losing my own voice.”
“I understood the topic, but my essay wasn’t making a convincing argument. OxfordHelpers helped me see where my reasoning needed work and how to connect my ideas. The explanations made a real difference, I finished with a stronger essay and a better understanding of how to approach the next one.”
FAQs
A tutor can help you learn the subject and build the skills the NEA tests: research, analysis, evaluation and writing technique. Because your teacher must authenticate the work as your own, we don’t review or give feedback on the NEA itself. If in doubt, ask your teacher what outside help is acceptable.
Yes. We can help you plan backwards from the deadline, work through the hardest parts with you, and give feedback on drafts if your module allows it.
Your brief or assignment guidance, the assessment criteria, your deadline and, for university work, any draft you’d like feedback on.
We can help with your own contribution, with understanding the topic and with project planning. We won’t produce material for the group to submit.
