Research and data analysis

Research methods and data analysis help, in the software you use

Statistics and qualitative analysis are where many projects stall. We teach you to choose a sound approach, run it correctly in your software and explain the results with confidence, using your own data at your own pace.

Analysis, interpretation and presentation

From the first design decision to the final results table.

Research design

Match your question to a design (experiment, survey, case study, interviews or mixed methods) and plan a realistic sample.

Choosing the right analysis

Work out which statistical test or qualitative approach fits your data and your question, and how to justify it.

Running the analysis

Step-by-step guidance in your software while you work on your own dataset, so you can repeat it confidently.

Interpreting output

Make sense of p-values, effect sizes, confidence intervals, model fit and assumption checks, or of codes and themes.

Presenting results

Build clear tables and figures and write results sections in APA style or your department’s format.

Questionnaires and interviews

Design surveys and interview guides that actually measure what you intend to measure.

Our approach to your data

Your analysis has to be yours. Markers, supervisors and viva panels regularly ask students to explain the choices they made, so we teach and check rather than do. You run the analysis; we explain each step and make sure you understand why it’s the right one.

We never invent, alter or selectively remove data to change a result. Please anonymise participant data before sharing it where you can. Anything you do share is treated as confidential and deleted when your support ends.

What we won’t do

Clear limits protect you. Everything we offer is designed to sit within UK academic integrity rules. Read our integrity policy.

  • We don’t run your analysis for you or write up your results.
  • We never fabricate, alter or selectively remove data.
  • We don’t complete statistics assessments, tests or exams.

How it works

How research and data analysis support works

  1. Step 1: Tell us what you need

Send the enquiry form or a WhatsApp message with your subject, level, deadline and the help you’re looking for.

  2. Step 2: Talk it through

We ask a few questions, check your course’s rules on outside help and recommend the right type of support.

  3. Step 3: Agree a fixed quote

You get a clear price and timeline before anything starts. No obligation and no hidden extras.

  4. Step 4: Get support and feedback

Sessions or written feedback delivered on schedule, with follow-up questions answered.

Students we’ve helped

In their words

“I had done the research, but bringing my dissertation together felt overwhelming. OxfordHelpers helped me spot gaps, organize my chapters, and strengthen my referencing. Their clear, practical feedback made the revisions manageable, and I finally felt confident about submitting my work. The result was a polished, thoroughly researched dissertation with clear arguments and careful referencing, and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.”

George MSc student

“With my deadline approaching, I needed more than a quick spellcheck. OxfordHelpers picked up unclear wording, inconsistent references, and mistakes I had overlooked. The editing was thorough, communication was straightforward, and I submitted on time without losing my own voice.”

Alia PhD scholar

“I understood the topic, but my essay wasn’t making a convincing argument. OxfordHelpers helped me see where my reasoning needed work and how to connect my ideas. The explanations made a real difference, I finished with a stronger essay and a better understanding of how to approach the next one.”

FAQs

Research and data analysis support: common questions

Can you tell me which statistical test to use?

We’ll work through it with you: your research question, the type of variables you have and the assumptions your data meet. By the end you’ll know which test fits and be able to justify that choice in your methodology.

I’ve run my analysis but don’t understand the output. Can you help?

Yes, and it’s one of the most common requests we get. We’ll go through your output line by line so you can interpret it and report it accurately.

Do you help with qualitative analysis?

Yes. We support thematic analysis, content analysis and other qualitative approaches, including coding in NVivo or MAXQDA and writing up themes with appropriate evidence.

Is my data kept confidential?

Yes. Share only what’s needed, anonymise participant data before sending it if you can, and we’ll delete it when your support ends.
